HISTORIQUE

1975

Since its inception in 1975, Atelier Val-d’Or has always focused on satisfying its customers, and designing and improving its products. The company initially specialized in machining and repairing all manner of equipment and grew slowly but surely during its first years of operation

1980

Building on its success, Atelier Val-d’Or moved its facilities to the Val-d’Or Industrial Park in 1980.

1984

In 1984, owing to increasing demand from the mining industry, Atelier Val-d’Or decided to establish a design and manufacturing department devoted to developing and continually improving diamond drills.

2016

Atelier Val-d’Or has successfully developed world-class expertise in the design and manufacture of custom hydraulic diamond drills. Its reliable, experienced staff serves customers in the mining, forest, transportation and construction industries, as well as heavy industry.

20XX

The mining and industrial sectors impose harsh, demanding and risky work environments. At AVD, the driller and the industrial worker are directly at the forefront of our concerns. Our vision is to use innovation, to provide the industry’s best-designed products to improve worker efficiency. And we intend to assume leadership at the international level.
