Custom install a VD5000 drill on a Morooka 2200 crawler carrier for Bradley & Frères (now Major Drilling). Customer wanted to combine the performance of a VD5000 with a carrier it was already using for other purposes. The mast was installed on a 60-inch (1.5-m) guide. It is configured with a “P” AVD head and a “P” upper clamp. A “P” lower clamp is installed on a casing puller system. The drill uses its own power unit, independently of the carrier’s engine.
